I just made the final payment on my daughter's graduation present. She is a highschool senior and we've decided to give her a trip to Paris. She leaves 5 days after graduation and will be gone for 9 days. I try not to think about how much money this was....I could have a very nice new machine...but I guess my Brother works just fine. I'm SO excited for her!! I've never been.

That's what I got for graduation - and I LOVED it!!! This is something she's really, really wanted for a long time.

This is a wonderful gift you are given her.

I used to live closer to Paris then now, been there three times.
Still miss it and would like to visit again, but nowadays it's pretty much not likely to happen.

Those memories are still fresh in my mind. Europe is beautiful and an adventure. Many things to see and to do. Impressions that could last forever.

This might be a trip she won't be able to do anymore, so thank you for letting her go.

Sewing machines could come and go, a trip like this may not.

She will come home with many memories. My daughter has been to Europe three times on her own and would move to England if she could find a job there!! She is a history buff.

Lucky daughter - I didn't get a present for either of my graduations ;-)

She will love Paris though. I still have very fond memories of our MBA trip there - our final, and compulsory, course!

SandraD, my niece and nephew live in France ( my 2 brothers kids) and they both are so happy there.
My niece has lived there at least 15 years. She has a good job in a publishing company and my nephew is an artist.
I have a good reason to go someday!!!!!!!!! :D:D
Your daughter is in for a big treat!
