That is so true

I never known a fat or obese child, seen very few. Just a way to get control of people. I had 3 kids, 7 Grands and 2 Great Grands all were very thin as kids. Eating salads in restraurants has about as many calories as the burger. The $1.00 burgers, if you can find one is not very big.

So true. That and lack of getting outside to play.

Go park outside of a grade school when school lets out. You'll be shocked.

Many parents are afraid to let their children play outside, even in yards. My kids are 35 and 33. I thought nothing of letting them play outside, with me inside the house in full view of them, when they were little. My younger daughter lives in a very large, metropolitan area, and wouldn't ever consider that. I used to let my kids ride their bikes a mile down the street to get ice cream. I never see kids outside riding their bikes. There are just too many creeps out there now.

Were the creeps around 30 years ago and we didn't see it? Or are people just sicker now than they used to be?

I always let me kids play outside until the street light came on. Of course, I also checked on them regularly. All the kids in the neighborhood played in my yard. The school was across the street and all the kids who had bikes would ride them in the parking lot and around the block. Yes, there were creeps 30 yrs ago, but they were not as protected by the law as they are now. Pedophile live on your block, you don't like that, guess what? They stay and you move.
