(This is copied and pasted from the mini horse forum)
He was only born on May 1, but since I have to go back to my class tomorrow, he was introduced to the electric early. This is the mares favorite pasture and where they feel most at home. I like to be with them a full day before I leave them unattended back there... but my dad will come every 1.5-2 hours to check on him for a few days.

These are from yesterday-in the front pasture.

I don't know exactly what color this boy is--but I've never had a blue-eyed dorsaled foal! :D He is going to be unique, but I've always called his mama a silver dappled, flea-bitten dunskin going gray... :) Tucker looks just like his sire in this photo.

Thank you for all the wonderful pictures of your horses. They bring laughter and joy to our days.

Mplsgirl 05-03-2009 07:04 AM

He is just the cutest thing ever!!

sewjoyce 05-03-2009 07:10 AM

He is just so darn cute!! And to think he's only a couple of days old! Was he unusually large at birth or are all horses this big this soon?? (Guess I'm just used to cats who give multiple births and are so teeny when they're born -- eyes closed and so helpless.)

tlrnhi 05-03-2009 07:27 AM

OH Karla! He's soooo cute! He sure does have Jazz's look, huh?
Oh, yes, those blue eyes are awesome!!
I just want to grab his little face and kiss it! :)

quiltwoman 05-03-2009 07:43 AM

He is really beautiful. Will his eyes stay blue??

Barbm 05-03-2009 07:53 AM

He is so beautiful! Gorgeous color!

barnbum 05-03-2009 07:59 AM

quiltwoman-I was just hugging him and his eyes are getting lighter and lighter--bluer and bluer. :D

Tink's Mom 05-03-2009 09:06 AM

Shemjo 05-03-2009 10:28 AM

Tucker is so sweet! Thank you for sharing with us. I wish I could see him in person! You are one lucky lady to be in the middle of all that love and energy. (I know you have to work hard also, I am not discounting all the hours you put in!) But I do envy your gifts!

He is so cute. I just want to cuddle him. Thanks for sharing.

He is adorable! I visted the website for Churches Little Minis. I like it! I saw Whisper! She is adorable! Great job! :D

bearpaw 05-03-2009 02:44 PM

He is gorgeous! I love his little ears!!

Mousie 05-03-2009 03:29 PM

tooo cuuuutte!!!! 1st pic with mom is so adorable, and he stopped and let you take one, facing camera. They aren't shy are they? Guess they know how purty they are! My grandbaby would go banana-ape over him!
She likes to feed, Yeehaw...what she named our rocking/jumping play horse,...she talks to him, and gives him imaginary apples, when she comes over. This would be way over the top for her! Can't wait for her to get well from cold, and show her these pics. thanks so much! :D

sandpat 05-03-2009 03:34 PM

Karla...his eyes are really unusual...is it common for minis to have blue eyes? I know there is a color of walking horse (full size) that has blue eyes (can't think of the name of it right now..Cammella or something like that) I know you've checked and he can see...right???

His is a really great looking little man!

gcathie 05-03-2009 05:29 PM

:-)....Oh my goodness he is so proud looking.....is he bigger than Mazie?......looks to be.....once again Thanks for sharing.....:-)

barnbum 05-03-2009 05:51 PM

Yes--he's way bigger than Mazie--she's 11 days--he's 3--and he's just sturdy to her petite. She's feminine, but tough. And fast.

The prince and the princess.

amma 05-03-2009 06:06 PM

I will never get tired of seeing your pictures :D :D :D I am soooo jealous of you

zyxquilts 05-03-2009 06:11 PM

Ahhh, I feel so much better now that I've had my Tucker-fix for the day! LOL Thank you so much Karla, for the daily pics. :D

tlrnhi 05-03-2009 06:12 PM

Isn't it great just looking at the pictures and getting that HUGE grin on your face for the day? Makes people wonder what you are smiling about. lol

barnbum 05-03-2009 06:16 PM

amma--maybe if I wrote out the activities of my day--you'd not be jealous anymore.

Just let someone read one of the class's weekly letters. OMG! Those make me want to nap after reading EVERYTHING those kids do! Busy at school, busy at home. Don't know how you do it, but I want just 1/4 of your energy!

Shemjo 05-03-2009 06:25 PM

Karla, I get tired just reading what you have on your plate! :?
