Turbans for cancer- pattern

I saw a pattern for turbans or chemo patients that someone was offering. I left the sight to sign and join. Now I can't find it. This was for cancer patients. I've been making these but this pattern looks better than what I have been using. Please help me. Jean in St Jo.

Great pattern and what a blessing those would be for cancer patients!

Several years ago the American Cancer Society had patterns for the turbans. You might check with the nearest office to you.

There are several hat patterns at this web site from Nancy Zieman.

Wow, would believe I have been researching the same thing today. A very dear friend of ours is battling breast cancer and I was wanting to make her some.
Thanks for the info.

Hi! One month ago I was diagnosed with lung & hip cancer. Just finished 3 weeks of radiation & will start chemo om 3/1. Waiting for a last biopsy to come back. Have worn my hair really short since retirement but last night had it all buzzed off. I'm too weak to sew any of these little turbans, but does anyone know where I might buy a few? I have a really small head.
Terry, Freezing in New York.
Many thanks for any & all help.

Terry, when I had cancer two years ago, the clinic had a dept affiliated with national and local charities that gave us wigs, caps, and scarves for free. They also taught us how to wear our makeup when your eye brows and lashes were gone. Ask your oncologist about that kind of service. Good luck with you treatments and outcome with your treatments. I'm adding you to my prayer list.
