Thanks for sharing those great pictures. You are so lucky to live in such a nice area.

Latrinka 07-22-2012 04:07 PM

Wow! That is absolutely gorgeous! They are the most mystical, magical animals to me!

Elise1 07-22-2012 04:24 PM

I am so jealous that you have such beautiful animals in your yard. Thanks for the great pictures.

Jingle 07-22-2012 06:03 PM

They are beautiful, as long as they don't jump in front of your vehicle while driving on the roads or highways.

That's the truth! Not long ago I heard that deer kill more people than any other animal. But they are so beautiful to look at! One awesome thing about living in WI!

We put "whistlers" on the car. They are easy to install and we don't even notice them anymore. These are just plastic doodahs from the car parts store that make a make a whistling noise the deer hear, but humans don't. Air goes through them to make the sound. There are no moving parts. We have seen deer turn around and head away from us several times and have been thankful each time that we had them. They're under $10 and worth every cent. IMHO

AND those twins are just beautiful!!

Great double twin photo. Love seeing the fawns and the 'boats' ;-).
Thanks for posting their cuteness.

nygal 07-23-2012 06:13 AM

How beautiful they are. We see them often in our area too.

anita211 07-23-2012 06:15 AM

We have them in our backyard. I love to see them. So majestic. Now they are eating apples. I watched a doe stand on her back legs to get to apples too high for her to reach. Unfortunately, the camera wasn't handy.

Ditter43 07-23-2012 09:41 AM

They are so beautiful! Our Florida deer are much smaller. We see them here from time to time. It is always a thrill. Thanks for sharing your picture!

MarleneC 07-23-2012 10:29 AM

We haven't had deer but have had twin moose calves born in our front yard when we lived in Anchorage, Alaska.

marymm 07-23-2012 10:36 AM

beautiful twins...

Ilovemydogs 07-23-2012 11:18 AM

Awesome!!!

Carol Ann 07-23-2012 02:26 PM

Arn't they beautiful? So peaceful, and such beautiful animals.

QandE2010 07-23-2012 03:18 PM

Beautiful animals. However, they like to eat flowers, shrubs and anything in your yard that you have. Then you wish they'd go to the neighbors. (Ask me how I know)

AuntieD 07-23-2012 06:39 PM

Great photos, thanks for sharing. We get deer in our backyard, but they move too fast for me to take photos. Isn't it fun to watch them?

Mariposa 07-23-2012 06:41 PM

They look just like the ones in my back yard!! Must be cousins or something............

I live close to the NASA space center and they have deer wondering around over a wooded area of the property. I always feel good when I spot them as I drive by. An aunt of mine lives in east Texas at a place called Holly Lake Ranch. There are deer roaming around all over the place, and we have seen them in her yard, just like your picture. That is really neat.

JoyjoyMarie 07-24-2012 03:06 AM

Great shots - aren't their spots so cute too? All I've seen in my yard lately is a groundhog - actually that was a real surprise, because I didn't know we had any locals here-- and all the robins fighting over the birdbath in this hot weather. Since our last cat died, the birds are everywhere in the yard this year.

I was driving out of my development, came around the corner and there was Mama deer and two small ones. It is fun to watch them. Good thing I don't drive fast in the neighborhood. She kept looking at me so she could protect her wee ones. Mama herself was very young as well.

nwm50 07-24-2012 05:13 PM

Great shots !! I scared off a doe in my cotton field the other day while riding thru on the golf cart...not realizing it was there til his/her head popped up and started taking off...such majestic creature!

Momo 07-24-2012 05:47 PM
