Two more dolls going to children in need

These are dolls 114 and 115 to be delivered tomorrow. They will complete a set of 6 out of 9 kids from one family, that I posted earlier pic of dolls 110 through 113 last week. The other 3 are to old for a doll. It is hoped the dolls will bring comfort. I hope you enjoy seeing them. the boy turns to become a sleep face boy on the back. The girl flips and shows a nightgown and sleepy face. I hope you enjoy seeing them. The boy receiving is 2 and 1/2 and the girl is four.

Thanks. Rose sent me the boys clothes and some other things for the 'kids' to wear. She and Ana have been so helpful! I got an e-mail all the way from Toyko from a quilter who wants to help with the dolls just 2 days ago. She is going to N.Y. and will mail a package from there, that will have some things of Japanese origin. People are so good, and that is why I've been able to make so many dolls. The new goal is 200. Hope I can manage! Lots of work involved in it all. Thanks again and glad you like them.

Thanks Nannyrick. You guys be sure to let me know if you know of a child with a devestating mental/physical problem that can use the comfort of one of the dolls. They are free as is the postage. PM me with info if you do know of a child. Usually the kids are 2 to 8 that get dolls, but there are often exceptions dependant on what is wrong, etc.

please send me your pm as I would like to help out- have lots of different materials wanting a new home and can always send small pieces of batting if used for stuffing. can also help with postage if needed.

Amyjo:
Its asking a bit much for postage, as last time I sent out a doll it cost Just over $23. It has to be mailed at the mail room as there aren't boxes otherwise that the dolls fit into. The girls are 23/24 inches and the boys are 28 inches high. The fee usually is 4.50 to 5 dollars just for a box. The package went from California to W. Virginia. If you have trims that are 48 inches long (and 2 to 3 or so high) those make the dresses real pretty. I use 4 at least of thinner ribbons that are a yard minimum to tie the waistline with for color. Bright trims really show up well. Fabris I always prewash and have to have a minimum of pre-shrunk one annd a half yards for each doll and have to have two dresseees per doll. (one dress as a nightgown.) Can always use embroidery threads in eye colors, black for eyelashes, etc and red or dark pink for lips. I use light brown eye colors for darker skin tone dolls so it will show up better. Hope this makes sense. Right now I have some money for postage in a non-profit checking account in my small town bank (titled DOLLS FOR SICK KIDS) and it is enough for 3 or 4 dolls, so it is no emergency there. Thanks so much for wanting to help. I appreciate it. I will send a PM with my address.
