Oh, I love those jar pincushions. I think it's so handy to have all the little bits handy right under the cushion - something anyone can use even if they don't sew a lot. sharet

So sorry the rain ruined your day. They say there is always a reason for everything, but dang!!!! When you reschedule, perhaps there will be more people and they will spend lots of money. Let's put it this way there was a lot of crock pot meals and the apartment is a disaster. LOL!! You don't want to see my sewing area!!

Sometimes we have to pay attention to that voice in our head that says the weather is just going to do what I think it is going to do. I'm sorry some of your work got wet but at least you quilts stayed dry. Hopefully nothing is ruined.

What a bummer for you. I am so sorry, but maybe next time will be a winner and you will sell everything. Your set-up looks so neat and I am sure you would have done a great deal of selling. All that prep and packing and what a let-down. But, be of good faith..I know you will.

I just got word today that most of the ppl that had booths still want to do it so she is going pick another for the carnival. YAY!!

WOW! Carrie, your booth is soooooooo attractive and the display is beautifully arranged! All of the smaller "goodies" are the icing on the cake! I know that if I were there, I'd RUN, not walk, immediately to your gorgeous booth!!!!! Whenever you reschedule, you'll know your spot is a real WINNER!

Nice display, hope you did well with sales.

Thinking about you...darn weather...can't count on it!

I didn't have any sales. About an hour before it started I had tear it down so that my quilts would stay dry. When the rain finally stopped we packed up and went home because the park was flooded and a muddy mess.

It all looks great! I love the pincushion jars, and I would put pins or bobbins in them.

Sure can't, especially here!!

Your little booth looked so pretty. Think of this time as a dress rehearsal!
We did a sale last year...92 degrees the first day, sunny and warm....41 the next day, cold, windy, rainy. Took everything down in a hurry, then went home and watched football!

So sorry you didnt get to sell anything.
Those events are really a lot of work and very tiring.

great job Carrie & how disappointing. The stupid weather is so unpredictable everywhere this yr! I was telling a friend on the phone that normally by this time of yr we are seeing really warm & muggy temps but it's been all rain & more rain this yr. Maybe the school or a church will have a quilt show & you can enter that. You will be steps ahead of everyone else! So sorry for the disappointment!

Good luck for the re-schedule...Your booth was beautiful, if I lived nearby I would have been there in a flash (bit of a swim though:). We have really enjoyed seeing your progress with these quilts and wish you bountiful sales next time.
