I have to finish making 200 handkercheifs by tomorrow night! But the lace that my mother decided would be good for it, is super difficult to deal with! Tonight and tomorrow are going to be very very long.

have you tried a drop of glue-baste it here and there to help control the lace while you sew? it may help. you can use drops of elmers school glue if you have time to wash them afterwards but the glue-baste glue you would not have to remove.
