Has anyone been a recipient of one of these certificates with 27 terms and conditions? I recently flew on United and had an issue so they issued one of these $100 certificates to be used on future travel, good for 1 year only, blah.... Do they really think I would "choose" United again? I would avoid them if at all possible for sure. Let me know if you have been issued on of these things?

I've not heard of those, but I'm almost to the point where I do not want to fly because I do not want to get groped by a TSA agent.

Yes we have gotten these several times and from different airlines for lots of reasons, in my opinion no airline is good these days. With prices being what they are just think of it as a well deserved discount !!

I received some because of a messed up connection and gave them to my niece to use. She and her hubby were stationed in California at the time and I wanted to help them get home for the holidays. So they have their benefits.

Haven't had an occasion to fly lately, and the last time I did it was a contract flight for military returning from overseas assignment after living in Guam for 2 years, so no bonus for the 8 hour extra layover in the airport with 4 small children.

I know just last month when we flew they certainly didnt just offer it to us I wrote to the airline and filed a complaint and thats when I got the $125 towards another flight within a year to use.
