Oh yes! Crazy mistakes. Just the other day I sewed, very carefully pinned and then sewed, a border to the back of the quilt. You know that thing about right sides together we hear so much about. I know that when I am too hungry I just can't think straight but wanted to push on to get that last border on. Then our little dog upstairs started barking his "get up here now" bark which I have a hard time ignoring, kind of like a crying baby but no, I really wanted to finish that last border. So after taking care of the dog and eating lunch, I ripped out that border and very carefully re pinned and re-sewed that border. That was my thought, exactly, what a waste of time. Will I learn from this? Probably not. Oh well, quilt on!

Even worse is ripping out the wrong seam!

I have done this and so much more. I have to leave the project and get back to it later.
