We got our Grand daughter the cutest antique stool at a flea market yesterday..the legs their self are only about 9 inches tall..and it has a covered top..so taking off the old 4 layers ..I wanted to check out the older textiles..the padding as what looks like either part of a old sheet..2 hand emb pillowcases..and a pair of bloomers or pettipants..below the knee that had been patched several times..they removed 2 buttons that were on the side opening..and had cut off the waist band..I am thinking to make it as smooth as possible..the top old er fabrics looked to be pieces of old lined drapes!! Very interesting-
