Thanks for all the great ideas. Our Valentine tea was a success and here is a photo of the main food table with framed old valentines and fresh flowers, plus tasty treats. We had scones, clotted cream, finger sandwiches, tarts, and so much more. Being a retired science teacher I took out all the cholesterol and calories (yeah, right). We had 12 tables decorated by volunteers with their best china, cloths etc. in various themes; seating from 4 to 8 ladies. All the food was donated, fun entertainment, and prizes for all. I made bookmarks, potholders, embroidered hankies, and teacup pincushions.

Wow it is so pretty. And with no calories in the snacks (haha) I wish I had been there with youl.
