It's the little things that make me happy. 08/26/11 I got my new sewing machine. It's a Singer beginner computerized model, and I'm excited about what it can do. The manual boast of being able to make 80 different stitches. It comes with all the presser feet, I'll need in quilting and everyday sewing. It has both foot pedal control and button press control. The manual instructs tha I use mostly polyester thread, cotton, coverd, 100%, or mercerized threads. And it read that I should only use a certain style bobbin. It came with four, but I already have another four [the clear plastic ons] from my basic beginners sewing machine. I'm going to christian it with the storm at sea quilt, I finnaly finished cutting the pieces of.
Also my gradson asked me to teach him how sew on a sewing machine. He's serious about not wanting to have to wait on me to make his shorts and night pants, when he finds some material that excits him. I'd just this day downloaded a sewing for beginners ebook.
Getting ready for hurricane Irene aside today was a good day!
