It's beautiful! It looks like you live in a post card. Thanks for sharing with us.

gramajo 12-18-2012 10:39 AM

Beautiful! But you can keep the snow. We're supposed to be getting our first measurable snow on Thur. I love looking at it, but sure hate shoveling it.

JenniePenny 12-18-2012 10:45 AM

So pretty in the pictures. You could make one of those your Christmas card.

MissSongbird 12-18-2012 10:50 AM

So pretty! I can't wait for snow. I live in NW Ohio and we have yet to have a good snow. But I heard we might have a bit of snow by the end of the week. I sure do hope so...

CoventryUK 12-18-2012 10:53 AM

Beautiful......to look at when your tucked up warm and cosy inside!!!!!:)

Tartan 12-18-2012 11:38 AM

Jingle 12-18-2012 11:40 AM

Always much prettier looking from the inside out. Beautiful postcard pics.

karenpatrick 12-18-2012 11:43 AM

Wish we would get some snow. But it's been too warm. W don't seem to have winter more.

miss_ticky2 12-18-2012 11:44 AM

Wow, that is so beautiful. I've never lived in snow (never even seen it) so snow scenes are always fascinating and so pretty

gzuslivz 12-18-2012 11:47 AM

Dee, Are you in eastern Oregon?

dakotamaid 12-18-2012 12:02 PM

6-8 inches due here tomorrow into tomorrow evening and with high winds. I'm like others, enjoy looking out. Kitchen is stocked and snow blower is ready to go!!

Wanabee Quiltin 12-18-2012 01:03 PM

Thanks for the pic, love looking at the snow, but hate living in cold climates. Lived in Idaho Falls and they have about 9 months of winter a year. Leaving tomorrow for the wonderful Gulf Shores of Alabama.

We live in LaPine -- south of Bend, Oregon ----- in Central Oregon. :) We're at 4300 feet -- and get more snow than Bend.

Susan G. 12-18-2012 06:12 PM

I love snow. I wish we would get some here.

Chasing Hawk 12-18-2012 06:27 PM

Ok Dee, what were you doing in my backyard? ! ? !

Beautiful pictures.

Only place that gets more snow than we do.....the Himalayas.........LOL

sewgarden 12-18-2012 06:31 PM

What beautiful pics. You will sure have a lovely white Christmas. It's very, very hot over here.

amandasgramma 12-18-2012 06:31 PM

Oh - Chasing Hawk -- - I'm in your FRONT yard!!!! :) :) And, yes, the Himalayas have more snow. I think this is the "big year" --- it's been 7 years since a big snow!!! :)

Chicca 12-18-2012 07:09 PM

Dee, Such beautiful photos! I just moved back to Grants Pass, Oregon after living in Grandfalls Texas (desert, dust, stickers and very little green, rain or snow)for over 3 years. We have just gotten settled into our new home and we had about a fourth inch of snow when we woke up this morning! It was so gorgeous! Maybe some day we can get together!

amandasgramma 12-18-2012 07:15 PM

Brenda --- that would be a blast!!! Welcome back to Oregon!!! I made it to San Antonia a few years back....that's a beautiful city, but quite frankly, I wasn't too impressed with the rest of Texas!!!! (mostly the sounthern part is where we went). I have a good friend in Canyonville......will be visiting her next spring. Roseburg has a quilt show I'm going to enter..........they had over 300 quilts last spring!!!!

beatys9 12-18-2012 07:23 PM

Very pretty - your pics look like a postcard!

sassey 12-18-2012 08:42 PM

Beutiful pictures A few years ago I tried to find housing in LaPine but wasnt lucky enough to find a place to live so ended up in Bend for awhile but drove to Lapine a lot just to enjoy the view.

sewmuch 12-18-2012 08:46 PM

Triple ditto for me. It's just gorgeous. I love the snow but as I get older I find I want to be able to get thru it easily.

RIDGEFIELD 12-19-2012 03:53 AM

Looks like you will have a white Christmas. Beautiful pictures. In MA we have only had lots of rain.

institches33 12-19-2012 04:34 AM

Very pretty, but I'm hoping for global warming. Kidding!

Debbie C 12-19-2012 04:36 AM

I, too, am "Dreaming of a White Christmas".....but it won't happen on Long Island this year. Thanks for the beautiful photos

namom5 12-19-2012 05:50 AM

Beautiful. We lived in Oregon a couple of years and I LOVED it. Love the snow.

judi43 12-19-2012 06:32 AM

Your pictures are beautiful to look at but I'm not a lover of snow & it's going to 78 here today. I like warm days & cool nights. Merry Christmas

BellaBoo 12-19-2012 06:39 AM

Beautiful! DH got up last night and turned on the AC. The weather here changes so fast we have the heat or AC on during the same day.

Pam Riggs 12-19-2012 06:42 AM

Beautiful! Wishing for a white Christmas here in Kentucky, but I think we only get a dusting. Merry Christmas to you and your family! Thanks for sharing.

Geri B 12-19-2012 06:59 AM

lovely pics..that's the only way to enjoy snow....to me it is a four letter word.....waiting for our "first" measurable snowfall here in central Illinois.....supposed to dump on us on Thursday....my mantra is Think Spring........now we freeze it then.......

Rann 12-19-2012 06:59 AM

Beautiful! and it's been in the mid 60's here lately.

amandasgramma 12-19-2012 07:01 AM

The forecast says we may be getting a maxium of 14" by Friday ---------- only, at my house, where I live, we usually get MORE than the forecast!!! YAY!!!! I know --- crazy, huh

damaquilts 12-19-2012 07:02 AM

I love looking at others pictures of snow. I do not however want to look out My window and see it. :)

Roberta 12-19-2012 07:16 AM

Your state has been having lots of bad weather lately but the pictures are beautiful. We've had snow, ice, rain since Sunday as well. Today is our 49th. wedding anniversary and DH was going to take me out to dinner but the roads are too slippery :-(

JoanneS 12-19-2012 07:28 AM

I'd show you a picture of my house, but the sun's too bright to take a picture.
