vintage and newer dress maker patterns

I have hundreds of Simplicity, McCalls and Butterick patterns. All sizes, some are from the 40s and 50s. Several are Daisy Kingdom some are Little Darlings, lots of newer ones, some never used. Patterns are for everything from Layettes to costumes, dresses, skirts, slips, just everything, most are childrens patterns, but do have womens and teens too. My question is... How do I get rid of these? I use to sew clothing alot, for my girls and then Grandchildren. Now all I do is make quilts. I have 3 large totes full of patterns and some in a smaller bag. Help... I need idea's!!!

You could sell them, vintage patterns sell very well.

Check out the vintage patterns on ebay. I don't know why, but they are bought by some people. They need to be complete without alteration, and uncut is primo!

You could post them for sale on the SewItsForSale group on Yahoo. There is no commission cost that way. Just be sure to read the FAQs they send on what you can sell and what you can't, and also how to post (and remove) photos correctly. It's quite an active list. Here is a link to it:

To join the group you need to set up a Yahoo ID (if you don't already have one), but it's free.
