My son has searched for his daughter for years but the mother moved hither thither and yon and even tho he paid a lot of child support per month, she never sent pictures or anything. She was too wild to marry she said and took off. Well, the daughter went looking in facebook to find her dad and we are all going to see her this weekend. My DS and DDIL have no other children so this is really exciting. Gail is 14 years old. I have already decided on a quilt for her, with pictures of her Dad thru the years. I'm excited too. Another granddaughter.

Awesome, what an adventure. Hope it all works out for the family. SOmetimes it can be hard. And already getting her a quilt ready. Good for you. COngrats and hope it all turns out like you would like. Remember, we love pictures.

Oh how wonderful for all of you!! I pray that the meeting will be everything your family is praying for. I can just imagine how excited you must be.

People complain about the internet, things like this is a very good thing. I have a picture of my Great Grandparents because of the internet and I am very thankful. I've been able to find out lots of things I wouldn't be able to find out any other way.
Good luck meeting your Granddaughter, thank God she was able to find to Dad and Grandparents.
