I am overseas until next month (end of May) and received a bulletin from the Embassy in Port Morsby, PNG (our nearest Embassy to Vanuatu) with travel warnings etc--I doubt we are in jeopardy here, but we are flying to Fiji and on to LA, where it is a worry! Just hope they don't cancel flights or close the airport in LA-and gthere is no trouble! The Embassy warned to stay away from large public gatherings, especially in areas that may be at higher risk.

I understand completely the emotional factors that led to this post. I offer no criticism whatsoever against any who've commented so far.
However, among other things, it presents a wide open invitation to political argument. Also, while i admit freely that i relate to the sentiments expressed, I am not at all comfortable with the prospect of our quilting board being a place to gather and celebrate the death of any person ... it's just not who we are. |
