And the Tortured Flower Garden bloomed! Honestly! I have only watered twice in the last 2 years (trying to be good & conserving water), I rarely fertilize or do ANYTHING to these beauties. :D
.

These little roses are pale green when they first open, then change to a lovely cream when they are completely full.

ROSES!!!

They are amazing!

Someday I will live in a place where I can grow them. Here in northern NY I can buy them and enjoy them for one year, but after the winter only a few come back and the flowers are not that great.

WOW! I want your tortured garden! Beautiful!

In the "olden days" when they were watered on a regular basis, the irises bloomed pretty much all year long. 8) One of my friends saw them when I posted them on Facebook & said that all he got was weeds from the rain. LOL I'm just smart enough not to take pics of the weeds!

Thank you for sharing your beautiful flowers! We are seeing flowering trees and Azaleas. Early spring things are here, and the Dogwood are flowering. I am SO ready for nice weather. But here, we go directly in to summer some years. Should be in the 70s today. The grass is growing because we have had some rain here also. Lots of wind also!

Thanks! I was watching the Bonnie Hunt show that I had TiVo'd from the other day, and Bonnie was talking to Jorge Garcia, the actor that plays Hurley on "Lost", about gardening. They were saying how plants want to grow....mine are a perfect example! :D
For those who are waiting for warmer weather - last Thursday it was 64*, Saturday it was 100*, Sunday 104*, Monday & Tuesday in the high 90*s....and today it was a lovely 76* and supposed to be cooler again tomorrow! Sheesh! No wonder my sinuses are on strike!!
