We were stationed in Hawaii in the 1960's and lived in a motel near the zoo, then lived in a rental house on a hill all before housing became available. Left there in 1968 and fondly remember all we saw and did over there. Thanks for sharing the photo.

My nephew and his wife have been in Hawaiia for three years. He is with the navy. They have loved their time there but looking forward to getting back closer to home when he and Mother Navy part company in December. Hope you enjoy your time there!

When my daughter was there we stayed at the Hale Koa. Are you anywhere near there?
