Thank you everyone for the well wishes, congratulations and all of the nice words. Congratulations to everyone here that are still married. Sorry for the ones divorced, it does take both to be commited.
Considering our ages when we married, we were offically doomed from the beginning, I was 16-1/2, he was 20-1/2.
We plan to be married until death do us part.

Oddly enough our 3 kids, 2 girls have been married twice, 1 divorced after 2nd marriage, 1- son married once and divorced now.

Congratulations! What a milestone! I'll never see that cuz we married late, but will be celebrating our 25th in a couple years. So are you celebrating with family, alone or just how will you mark the day?

Well, our kids don't often follow our advice or even our actions. Don't feel this is in anyway due to a failure on your part. It is the way of the times, I'm afraid. It is lack of committment, selfishness, pride. Sadly, "'til death do we part" is now interpreted to mean 'til death of my feelings for you. Society makes it so easy to divorce.
Hope your grandkids aren't suffering because of these breakups of family. I have 3 GC who spend a week at mom's and a week at dads. How they can have a sense of belonging is beyond me. At least both parents live in the same school district.
