On Tuesday 6th June, my lovely nephew married his sweetheart. When they announced their engagement they asked me to make the cake.
I am always making cakes and have done a few lovely ones, but I have never made one that was so important.... I mean, if you mess up a birthday cake you can always nip to the shops an buy another one... but a wedding cake. Thank you all so much..... your kind words mean the world to me, as do your blessings and thought for my nephew and new niece! I was so honoured to be part of their special day...... I was very close to my brother and I think of him and miss him every day. It was especially wonderful to be part of their day.
