By participating, you are pledging to walk or run a 5K on May 22. This first week is about preparation: Find a training plan, and pack a bag with your shoes and comfy walk/run clothes, keeping it replenished with clean gear, a water bottle and a healthy snack at all times. Put your planned workouts in your calendar to really make that commitment to yourself. And maybe even make a new music playlist. Most important: Start gently.
