This year we will experience 4 unusual dates 1/1/11, 1/11/11, 11/1/11 and 11/11/11... now take the LAST 2 digits of the year you were born and add the age you'll be this year it SHOULD be 111 how strange is that?

it has to be after your birthday for that to work

cool

Works unless you are born 2000 or after. My 7th graders at school had fun with this yesterday when I posted it on the screen.

You have to use the age you will turn in 2011. It worked every time.

Well okay...had to try it did mine and then did my husband's and yep.....how cool is that?

Yes its 111 years from 1900. Anyone born in the 1800s it would be 211. Anyone born in the 1700s it would be 311. In 2111 anyone born in the 2000s will be 111 and those born in the 1900s will be 211 and so on .

Yeah makes ya wonder who figured that out. Must have been someone with way to much time on their hands.

Really cool! Never in a million years could I have figured that out....have enough trouble figuring yardages and such for my quilts!!
