Welders drawstring bag
 

Hubby got a new helmet and wanted a bag to hang it on a hook. So I made a drawstring bag out of a Jungle Print, with an orange "box/cargo" pocket with a 2" bellow for his gloves, and another pocket for his eyeglasses. He is so happy when I make something for him.....like a little boy.

What a nice thing to give your husband!

My husband keeps his welding helmets in Rubbermaid totes. I also made a cover for his welder, it keeps the grit and grime off it when he uses his metal working tools.

Another unique gift for a welder is his cap...you know, the ones they always wear backwards! :D You can find tutorials online & make them just for him.

Osewme, thanks for the welder's cap idea. I was just going to take a pic of the bag, but he was so excited with his bag, he ran outside and said take a picture of me. He really loved it, and wanted to keep the lens clean and protected between uses. I tried so hard not to laugh when he put the mask on, he looks like an alien from outer space. (At 6 foot 8 inches tall, he really looked like a friendly monster).
