This mouse is way too longsuffering and has paid the price for it in the past. Finally got old enough or something to not let everything roll past.
I have found that if I wait till I am furious, I do NOT feel better afterwards, bc I say too much. It's much better to try to roll with something maybe once, depends on what it is, and if it jeopardizes your job...but two times around is turning into a pattern.
I have gotten more respect after getting the carbon blown out. Good for you.

I feel for you . I use to work at a bank and let me tell you working with a group of women and having them as bosses is the WORST ! I am now at a small company and have found that when we hire a woman they can be very catty. Why is it they feel they have to make you look bad to make themselves look good ? I am in a secure position so I don't have too much to worry about , but not from lack of previous women trying to under cut me and make me look bad to the owners , but I look at it this way I am still there and they are LONG gone .
Hope things are beter for you after this

I threatened a guy once that if he touched me again I would rip his arm off and beat him with it. Does that count? In his defense - he came from a large Italian family and hugged everyone. In my defense - I am not that much of a hugger and had asked him to stay out of my personal space.

In general, when I have a problem with someone, I try to adress it in private. One time, a colleague took this private "discussion" and made it a public fight. All right buddy: bring it! I don't particularly LIKE conflict but i WILL FACE it.

If you would apologize - what would you apologize for? Your tone, the fact that you said the truth? The fact that you did it in front of others?
