I keep seeing posts mentioning Avatar and from the definition I see in the dictionary, I cannot connect it with quilting. Please enlighten me. Thanks.

The Avitar is the picture that people post with their information on the left of the chat board. See where your information is? It says New Knee, when you joined, messages, feedback, location....well some people put pictures there also and those are called Avitars. ::)

The avatar can be a pic of a quilt, you, family, anything that pleases you :D:D:D
You add it in the signature area in your profile here

Mine is a quilt that I made for my 4 yr. old grandson, Jakob. The quilt pattern is from June 2007, Quilter's World and is called Rainbow Road.

Thank you so much for asking that. I needed to know too!

A lot of people post their latest quilt creation as their avatar, which is really cool. I personally like seeing my dog pop up (lots of pet lovers on this board!)

the definition of a avatar is a digital photo/image that represents you

go into My Profile at the top of the page, scroll down to Avatar and click on Browse, then find a photo in your computer you want to use and click once on it and then Open. after that click save or update and it's done.
