I absolutely love Lee Childs and his hero Jack Reacher. Also Harlen Coban, James Patterson.

Do you find yourself attracted or repelled by the art on the book cover? Particularly on the free Kindle books on Pixel?

I just saw Nichholas Sparks being interviewed on Anderson Cooper, what a nice person! Now I have the book he talked about"Message in a bottle" I haven`t found time to read it (Family is comming home tomorrow for our 54th Anni) but did read the infro, sounds real good. Also I`m not an avid reader because of many inter-rupsions, but get 4 paper back romance novels a month, they are called "Inspirational "and come in the mail. They are so easy reading, I get large print, you can put them down and easily remember the story line. www.Harlequin.com

In this long thread - I only noticed the Bible (or other Holy Book) was mentioned only once!! (Twice if you count the OP response)

How is it going with Mom now?

You didn't say what you wanted to get from these books. Escape? Inspiration? Information? Laughter? Knowledge? Comfort? Hope?

(Are knowledge and information the same things?)
