DH won an Apple Touch Screen IPad. Honestly we don't know how to use it or what to do with it. Thinking of selling or giving to GS but he is only 10. Any opinions?

You can read the Quilting Board, download books, watch Netflix movies, email your friends, surf for new quilting patterns, websites, and links, download digital magazines: in short, it can replace your computer, plus it's portable and easy to read in bed!

Maybe sell it and buy DGS another gift? :D:D:D

Here's more info on it from Apple's site: http://www.apple.com/ipad/

I love my iPad. I'm using it now, but it did take a bit to get used to. I have a few games on here which the kids and I play, plus I do facebook and browse the Internet. Don't like it for books, but that's only because I like to read paper books, if ya know what I mean!!

Try the suggestions above. But you do need wi-fi. Don't know if you have that.

My grandson who is 5 uses his dad's ipad more than his dad does. He plays games Angry Birds and PacMan) on it, but his favorite thing is google earth. He likes to find our houses, places he's been (Disney World) and see the pic from "above". :-D :-D
