I remember when we first got married and he got sick and refused to go to the doctor. I told him to go lie in the bed and die if he didn't go to the Dr. because I wasn't gonna listen to his whining. He went to the room and came out 10 minutes later wanting to go. Turned out he had pneumonia. I know it sounded mean but it worked and 20 years later he still knows not to whine if he doesn't want to go to the Dr.

mine stays on the couch and takes over the tv, and moans alot. If he's really sick, he tells me he loves me every 2 minutes.

Do I have one of the rare breed? I know if he asks to go to the dr or the emergency room then something serious is up. And we've had six of these visits in the last two weeks. He knows not to whine, cos I tae no notice. And our son's the same way.

I totally agree! Mine is going through that stage now. Like it's only about him. Luckily I don't have any children at home so I can just ignore his whining when it gets bad.

Mine is a real trooper when it comes to the big stuff, shoulder surgeries, thyroid cancer. Let him get a cold or flu and he moans and groans, tells me every 5 minutes, he's going to die any minute.

My husband hardly ever gets sick. He doesn't even notice it when he does feel bad, and I only notice it because when his nose is stuffy he snores something fierce, which never happens otherwise. I told him if he finds me in another bed in the morning it's because of his snoring!

Sounds like many men. Just make him a doctors appointment. Then if he refuses to go, tell him then he must not really be sick.
