I had a buyer once disappear...she turned up 4 months later..I still had her item in the envelope..never reposted it...sealed the deal last week..nearly 5 months after first contact...

would I do it again...NO...but there was something about this panel...I wanted to keep it, so when she showed back up, I knew it was meant to be hers!

Just be glad the vanishing took place while you still have the item. Moderators are listed in bold in the list of everyone online if you want to contact one. I don't see how a moderator could force someone to buy an item, though.

It may just be part of selling things. In every sale I have had, there is usually one or two people who want something and never bother to respond again, or if they do, it is usually a long excuse as to why they haven't paid yet.

I've had the same thing happen over the last two sales I've had. The same person and they have requested about $80 worth of fabric. Hmmm, I wonder if it's the same person??

If they haven't sent you any money, I don't see why you couldn't repost. In a store, they will only hold something for 1-3 days, at most, especially without a deposit. If they don't contact you when you try to get in touch with them, I wouldn't feel bad about reposting it.

I have offered it to the next person in line who requested it. I know there is no way to hold them accountable but if the same people keep doing it, it isn't fair to those who really intend on purchasing items.
