I snuggle up to my hubby with a feel-good movie. Or have some chocolate ice cream. Or pet my kitties.

What cheers you up?

scoobertina 08-28-2010 10:06 PM

cleaning house.. watching a movie and snuggling up in a blanket.. working on something.. going for a walk.. reading.. but these are mostly done to keep lonliness at bay..

Deecee 08-29-2010 12:31 AM

I talk to my dogs. They are very understanding and give sympathetic cuddles.

HELLuvvANGEL 08-29-2010 12:33 AM

I generally call a friend and get to laffin. I hate being blue! I spent over half my life being unhappy. So now its laff laff and be a weirdo. Sometimes i need to call more than one person. Good thing my long distance is free.

granniebj 08-29-2010 01:07 AM

I call my youngest daughter and talk to her and the little ones! It reminds me that Nana is very loved, and always lifts my spirits.

Lacelady 08-29-2010 02:31 AM

I eat - bad for me I know, and lately I have been managing not to do that so often, so I ring a friend, or come here.

tweetee 08-29-2010 03:53 AM

I like to be alone and listen to music, that really cheers me up. Or I cuddle my kitties, and have a good cry to get it out of my system, and ring my mum.

quiltinghere 08-29-2010 04:18 AM

I cry, eat chocolate, eat chocolate ice cream . . . either one or all at the same time! :(

Elly 08-29-2010 04:19 AM

Laugh...Fake my way to happy!

redkimba 08-29-2010 05:14 AM

I generally go find some real sunlight. It tends to help. A nice feel-good movie also helps.

anything that makes me laugh.

Lynnejean 08-29-2010 05:51 AM

fabric buying trip usually helps.

lyndad 08-29-2010 05:52 AM

I start working as hard as I can, clean house, mow, make bread, it really makes nice bread when you knead the dickens out of it lol. I guess I'm weird but working seems to change my mood and attitude

MinnieKat 08-29-2010 05:54 AM

I take a nap...

CarrieAnne 08-29-2010 06:09 AM

Oh how I envy you. I eat, sleep and read this board. And do nothing else. Oh, a little valium never hurts any either.

CoyoteQuilts 08-29-2010 09:45 AM

A Sharon Sala, Suzanne Brockmann or Rachel Lee book! Just leave my trouble behind and read about someone elses!

franie 08-29-2010 09:55 AM

Sew!

2wheelwoman 08-29-2010 07:05 PM

take a lil ole nap

Gramof6 08-29-2010 07:17 PM

Take a nice nap...a nice bubble bath...clean house...go shopping...read a book. Usually one of these does the trick.

GrammaNan 08-29-2010 08:59 PM

Sleep or eat. It depends on how "Blue" I feel. Sometimes I read the board. One day I was so down I actually posted on the board for some help! And help came fast. Thanks everyone!
