The first one I got was "Go Now " by The Moody Blues"
What was yours ??? |
I'm not sure it was the first one I bought but it definitely was the one I loved the most. I played my Donny Osmond album every night before I went to sleep..my mom would come in and turn off my record player.. =) I still have it. I really wanted to take it with me to Vegas and have him sign it. How cool would that be??

It's My Party- Leslie Gore. You know, this is going to show how old we are LOL Still love the Golden Oldies. Of course they weren't "oldies" when I was listening to them. They were trash that was going to corrupt the younguns occording to the older folks.

Oh, I loved the Moody Blues! My first were Elvis Presley records..."Heartbreak Hotel", "Hound Dog". I had every 45rpm record and every long play album he made!! Then, the Beatles came along and I was hooked on just about anything British! Rolling Stones, too. Then my very favorite band ever - Led Zeppelin! I always said I would leave home for Robert Plant...still would...we're about the same age!!!

My first 45 that I bought with all pennies was "White Room" by Cream.

oops, double post

Bobby Vinton - "Red Rubber Ball", my cousin and I fought over this record - I won....
