Children's museum, we love going there. Everything is kid friendly. My son loves it!
The Indianapolis zoo. The zoo in Ft. Wayne is better but, the Indy zoo is still really nice and it has the butterfly garden!

Love going to Shipshewana at any time of the year! Nice shops, excellent restaurants, very slow-paced and relaxing.

Love going to various county fairs in June and July and to the IN State Fair in August. Our kids always showed livestock there...can you believe, DD2 is dating a guy from the Indy area who has NEVER been to the state fair?!! He is a really nice guy but I'm not sure I can see that relationship going anywhere. LOL

Lake Patoka in southwestern IN is beautiful in the fall. We stay in a gorgeous cabin there. Have also stayed at French Lick which is in that area...have not stayed but did look inside the West Baden Springs Hotel. That will be for another trip.

There is a very nice winery in Lafayette, IN...Wildcat Creek Winery.

Not much historical in Indiana. However Plymouth has the second largest festival on Labor Day weekend.
BLUEBERRY FESTIVAL
I worked it for years.
