We simply can't see past fossil oil which means digging up more of the earth, going to war, being at the mercy of oil companies, etc when for many years we've had the technology to use wind, solar, wave and water energy! Some countries use helium (is it or is it hydrogen?) and you drive up as if to a gas station. And we're an advanced nation?
