out of all the sand hill cranes around, this thing does look a lot different. maybe a mutated one by chance. strange

Sand Hill Cranes have made a comeback here in MN. We see them in the fields everywhere, during the summer. They are weird looking. They make a very strange noise.....like plastic rubbing together or rubber? Just odd. Fun to see!

Yes, it does have a very odd sounds. We were just stunned with the whole experience!
