This fabric is something new that Windham is coming out with. I just stumbled across it on their site tonight; they don't even have an arrival date for it yet. I *am* considering buying it for our shop and would appreciate your input. The collection is named "On the Lake" and you may view all of it here on Windham's site: http://windhamfabrics.com/cgi-bin/fa...i?Category=513

Are you going to carry this particular piece of fabric? If so, I LOVE it!!! It would be perfect for a quilt I am designing for my daddy!!!!  I just checked out the link you provided. That's a beautiful line of fabrics! I love the logs, and I want to move into that cabin that has the blue truck parked next to it!!!! :-D |
Well, I was debating re-ordering some log fabrics and fishing-flies fabric by Moda... and then I saw these. The rep is coming next week and I should be able to find out when this new group is coming. We always do well with nature/outdoors fabrics so these are right up our alley. If this group is not coming until late fall, then I will re-order the Modas now and also order this group for later.

I see a speckled trout and a sunfish for sure. Been a few years for this former fisher-lady. Got to be hazardous fishing in the mountains by myself, specially if it was late September and I was pretty high up and the snow started flying. The car was a long ways away and that was my last fishing trip. Sad, really sad.

Yup. All freshwater fish. |
I have seen so many of these in my 30+ years of marriage. They are indeed large mouth bass. My hubby is a huge bass fisherman. We don't eat them, just catch and release for the sport.
