We got all the drywall up and mudded. :) I am exhausted and can't wait to start sanding tomorrow. I have my paint already. I went shopping in my paint I have here already and picked out a red and warm yellow.
Don't mind the mess...it's everywhere...lol.

Thanks...I figure it was just wasted space as a garage. It would make a much better sewing room!!! Hahaha. Now we are going to have to build a bigger garage(maybe next year).

Do you have your 'drywall primer' too? That goes on new drywall before the new paint.

Oh its going to be so nice. I know you are going to love it. I turned my garage into my sewing room too. I love having my own room to hide in. Of course my mother always asks me what i am doing out there. I have everything I need or want out there. I got a chair to sit in and do hand work that has to be carried out there as soon as I finish my renovation work. Just a little reorganization..

Great idea, I did the same thing, except we had a carport. I enclosed it to make a finished garage (Electric garage door is insulated and double faced so we can convert to garage if we sell). I have tons of shelving (don't ask me how much they cost, I was afraid to keep track). Just know that someday someone will have a NICE finished and heated/cooled garage. I know you will enjoy your new space as much as I do. Congratulations and keep posting photos.
