Back then I did just that, but they hung on bathroom wall. I took pics from when they were babies taking baths, did them in black and white photos in black frames. Had them hanging right over the towel rack. It was so cute, I got many complements on those photos.

My kids were never like that. Now I hardly see them due to them being older and friends. Maybe they were and I just didnt know, I'll have to quiz them.

Thanks for the laugh. The memories your kids will have is priceless. You made the best of hard times.

When my daughter was dating her future husband he would have her paged when they were at large store. Or he may tie a ballon onto here belt loop. As she walthed thur the store all you saw was a large balloon floating in the air.
She is barely 5' tall and he is over 6'5". They laugh about it now, she watches him close as he may do it again.
Yes, their 18 year son is like his dad. The son picks on me, I am his source of entertainment.

Memories in the making

I have a pic of my youngest in a Lily Ruben peach silk with white pearl and silver sequin evening dress. He was on the football team and they lost a game and had to cross dress for the day at school. He was gorgeous From the Back,,, then he would turn around and he was just old enough to have a 5 o'clock shadow. He of course played it to the hilt with full make up & wig. Strange thing was he came home in a wedding dress! I still have not found out how that came about. Maybe it is best that I don't know.:)

My boys made a video doing the exact same thing. I found out in the last few months that they erased the tape, darnit that was good blackmail.

Its the usual, somebodies thread is bunching, endles supply of quilting fabrics for sale, memories of yesteryear, OBW, D9P, table runner, bed runners, and ditters daily dose.

After reading ditters post on going shopping with my wife I remembered what my children would do to me in the store when they were teenagers(and still do sometimes). We would be strolling down an isle and out of the clear blue(there had to be another costomer present) my son would start yelling at me...."How many times do I have to tell you not to touch the things on the shelves? You just wait till we get home!" The first time they did this I was in shock and I know it showed on my face. They would continue..."This is it, I'm not going anywhere with you again! Dads gonna be so mad, I bet he spanks you!" Now mind you they arent just talking they are yelling, people from isle over are coming to see what the comotion is all about. I would just walk away like I didnt know them.

There was a time when I worked 60 plus hours a week in a factory. Tired was not the word for it, i was averaging about 3-4 hours of sleep a night. So off to the store we would go after I got home from work(single mom). I'd just pull my shopping cart along behind me. Dropping things in not even looking at the cart, only to eventually turn around and those boogers had loaded my cart with anything they could find, 10 boxes of cereal, 20 bags of marshmellows, a case of poptarts, enough toilet paper for a year. I just stood there, paused and walked away from the cart went and sat on one of the end caps and told them to go get me another cart. they left the mounded cart sitting in the isle. So at this point I dont care anymore my kids have embarrassed me so much that I just cant imagine what could be worse. Here they come with the fresh empty cart. My oldest is arount 15 and my youngest son 12. The 12 year old is in the cart screaming "Go faster!". I had to laugh. "Boy get out of that cart, momma needs a place to sit" Yep, thats right after years of embarrasing mom in the grocery store it was my turn. I climbed my tired hiney in the back of the cart and made them pull me around in the store to get the things we needed(and they couldnt add any special items this time). I never got out of that cart till we got to the car. At one point I was waving at people like I was in a parade. To this day you never know what my kids will pull in the store. Heres a pic taken this past summer in Kohls, Ive posted it before. I can catch them in the act with my camera phone. http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-64648-1.htm
