woke up this morning with "The Skye Boat Song" in my head - learned it in the 8th grade (40 years ago). Trying to replace it with "Tie a Yellow Ribbon"

Found it on Utube and have it in the background along with some of her others.

Frank and Nancy Sinatra, grew up with Frank on the Hi Fi . always music in my house.
Father Daughter duet: Something stupid

I know I stand in line until you think
You have the time to spend an evening with me
And if we go someplace to dance
I know that there's a chance you won't be leaving with me
And afterwards we drop into a quiet little place
And have a drink or two......
And then I go and spoil it all by saying
Something stupid like I love you

Ultimate: Pants on the ground with the mother that has Alzheimer's. I can't stop laughing..

My grandmother wanted to know why Walter Cronkite was giving her the news from her lamp one day.. I can laugh now.. Poor Grandma, rest her soul.

Pants on the ground wins for me! ha ha

I haven't thought about this song in along time! But I can hear the melody in my head now! Thanks for reviving a song I've always enjoyed.
