I have gone to the dollar store and bought bags and bags of those little glass globs. I put them around my roses to discourage any kind of digging. Works for me and looks kinda neat.

We had a cat that use my inside plants for a litter box. My hubby found a product online I don't remember him telling me the name, but was the scent of coyote and did that work great!

Since cats love soft fluffy dirt, I would suggest you buy a bag of potting soil and spread it thick in a part of your yard that you don't care that much about. Then I would scatter some aquariaum gravel (it comes in pretty colors) over the top of your potted plants.

i seemed to have one or two try it in my garden every year after i plant it. i go to the store and get the cheapest and hottest hot sauce and kinda put it where they do their business. it seems to help a little
