I just started reading the Poldark series by Winston Graham. So far, it's really good. There are 12 books in the series. One of my favorite books is The Lion by Nelson Demille. Everyone I know who have read it really like it.

I love all the mail order bride, wagon train travels and settling the west light fiction books for relaxing --only trouble is not being able to put them down and find myself still reading at midnight or later almost every night after sewing or quilting all afternoon--hard on the 80 yr old eyes.

The Three Heavens by John Hagee.

I just read The Kitchen House by Kathleen Grisson and also The Invention of Wings by Sue Monk Kidd. Both were very good reads. I also like Susan Warren's books.

Just finishing "Someone Is Hiding Something" -What Happened to Malaysia Airlines. by Richard Belzer, with George Noory and David Wayne. It is about Flight 370 Malaysia Airlines. Looking at all the ways flights are tracked including satellites, some discrepencies, and other things that don't seem to add up.

I'm listening to Plague Dogs by Richard Adams (author of Watership Down)
Next up in the audio pile is M.C. Beaton's Hamish Macbeth mysteries. On the night stand I'm working my way through the Little House On the Prairie series. I missed it in my youth and never watched the tv series so it's all new to me. Am thankful I was not a child of those times. Or adult either for that matter.. After that on the to be read stack are two Armageddon/end of the world books. I think I read these to see if I'd even be remotely able to be one of the few survivors :) My favorite in this line is by Larry Niven, Lucifer's Hammer |
I loved the Testament so much I read it again. Grisham can make you believe you are in the story rather than watching.

Right now I am into The Portrait of a Lady by Henry James. I love historical novels. This one was first published in 1881
