Plans are never exciting. Usually yard work gets done.

We have DH's family here for the long weekend. I think we are going to go out on a boat to do some Whale watching and see the Channel Islands. Probably only a half day trip since everyone's on such a tight budget. That will be Monday, the 4th.

Usually my son and husband are working during the day, so not too much for me -- but in the evening, we'll be out picking mulberries where my husband works as we've done for the last two years. They make the most wonderful wine! Then down to the water to watch fireworks from the beach clubs. Maybe a sip or two of the 2009 brew! Mmmmm.

I will be working the whole weekend....and praying that no-one gets stupid with fireworks and needs our services. If its not busy, I will take my sewing machine to work and finish piecing my niece's quilt.

My oldest DGS was born on the fourth of July, we usually spend it at their house, or them at ours. Don't like to travel on holidays due to traffic.

This 4th of July is my 20th wedding anniversary. We have no plans, but maybe we will think of one.
