We have central air and keep it at 85. That is plenty cool enough for me.

The power company NV Energy kept telling everyone to conserve. Now they are raising the rates because they're profits aren't high enough...geesh what crooks
Ours stay set at 80 |
73 year round. The temp has remained in the high 80's at night for almost a month; this is the hottest summer in our area since 1980. I was in Dallas that summer, at SMU, and walked down Highland Avenue, looked at the thermometer on the bank across from the university and it said 108. The temp was in the double digits for more than a month. It hasn't been quite that bad this year--yet--but it's only July.
No apologies for staying as comfortable as possible. This is the 21st century not the 19th and even then, they tried to stay comfortable. froggyintexas |

AC we don't have AC. Ceiling fans and lots of shade.

80 degrees during the day. We're in and out alot. Plus, my sewing room is on the basement level which stays cool. At night I move it to 72 or I would never be able to sleep. This is what works for us and I sure hope we never lose the right to choose.

78 during the day & 80 at night.

Only have a window unit with low, medium, high...most of time we keep it on low...and I only use it when have to...would so much rather have fresh air...but this next week it is supposed to be 90's all week...and will be running it...probably on medium...I live and sleep in the living room when it is this hot!

84 in the daytime.
When it gets cooler outside than in the inside I open the windows. |
