LOL! I don't think you would offend anyone in our generation. That may be a bit spicy but I think we all have probably all heard this a few times....

Sorry if I offended anyone!

My personal favorite is Bloom where you are planted. I married a military man and we moved a lot. Even more tho, to me it really just means to make the best of whatever life hands you.

So ugly he/she was hit in the face with a bag of nickles

Dummer than a box of hair.

When I worked we did very detailed work, constantly referring to and interpreting federal regulations and my co-worker would say "It's like picking the fly s--t out of the pepper!".

With a car full of kids & someone wondering who "cut the cheese", my sweet little Mom said "A fox smells his own hole first". We were shocked!

"Out of the shade and in the heat. Off your butt and on your feet."

"If wishes and buts were candy and nuts we'd all have a Merry Christmas."

"I felt about as welcome as a red headed stepchild at a family reunion."

My mother-in-law always said,"Don't get your skirt over your head".

BobbiSue, I like your daddy. Never quit is my own watch phrase (only thing I've ever quit was smoking)
