I know that dryers can sometimes lose things. How I don't know. And my washer sometimes tangles up my bra strap with other clothes, but I understand how that can happen. One particular incident, though, had me stumped. I opened the lid when everything was done and found my bra strap looped over the wringer. How on earth did that happen? I didn't put it in that way or I would've noticed.

What strange things has your washer done?

My washer has done simular stuff too, I always wonder how it happened.

I have a front loader. I love candy. One day, I guess I forgot to empty my pockets, and when I went to retrieve the washing, there was an M&M bag right in the middle of the front window of the machine. Cracked me up! I was not worried about the actual candy going through the wash, as chocolate never stays in my possession more than a minute.

My washer did the same thing to my bra. I could not figure it out either.

I have a front loader and one day both my pillow slips ended up inside my duvet cover, which was still buttoned up! I have since replaced the buttons with long zips. (I found zips by the yard on ebay).

I put my bras inside a lingerie bag that zips. I don't check DH's pockets so I find his pocket knife sometimes & always foam earplugs. LOL Any $$ found usually was mine to begin with.

I had a dryer that produced a new-to-the-household t-shirt. I was doing the laundry for my family & spotted an olive-green shirt with different color sleeve edges in it. No one recognized the shirt.

It just supported my theory for how the one-sock disappears (through a wormhole). :P

I put my bras in a mesh bag with a zipper. They stay contained that way, and it isn't as hard on them. I also air dry. The heat of the dryer is hard on the elastic. With the price of good bras I don't want to replace them every few months.

I love to find money - as the laundrylady I get to keep it!

I can't figure out how my washer turns the t-shirts inside out all the time!
