If I feel a cold coming on I run to the store to get the fixings for a LARGE pot of homemade Chicken Soup. Depending how lousy I feel I'll make homemade noodles or just make noodle balls. Drink lot of hot tea and rest, reading a good book or watching TV.

Hot soup, tea with honey and lemon, ginger ale, heating pad and rest. Might not cure anything, but sure helps symptoms.
