love the Gravensteins too, best for applesauce and pies, but their season is short and hard to find this year..

Staymen winesap are my favorite apples. When I was little, my Papaw grew Virginia Beauties on his farm. Those were awesome apples!!

Well, my first choice is my computer and iPhone, and after that, Honey Crisp. I used to love Macintosh apples, but I don't think they are the same as when I was growing up.

Granny Smith and Gala apples are my favorite!! YUM! And actually, there is an orchard in my town where you can go and pick your own apples, me and my mom need to get over there before it freezes!

Honeycrisps are great. I just tried a variety that was new to me called Sweet and Tangy and they were excellent. I also like Cameos, Fujis, Gala (though they can tend toward mealy at times) and Granny Smiths for cooking only. Oh, Jonagolds are yummy too!
