Your daughter sounds like mine. Mine is married and 26 now, but, boy, did she start chasing the boys, young! caught them and kissed them too, when I was not on my toes! :D

This pup and our donkey have become best buds! It is so funny to watch them, they have "tender moments" together!!!!!

No DH hasnt put the pup on a leash yet. I have a feeling he wont like it much! These heelers have an inborn instinct about working with cattle, so pups arent to hard to train. I would imagine if yours hasnt been around cattle before you got him, it might take a little longer.

Well <g> not a whole day, by any means ... just enough to keep us on our toes. Thanks for the encouragement on Duke. He will be fine. He is very responsive.
I have actually seen a cow dog working cattle, all by himself ... a real thinking dog, to say the least. Your pup, following behind (sort of on his own) looked to be a good job. I just figured maybe you had taught him something or used a technique that I wasn't getting.

Great pics Melissa! I love your GD in the little car! You've GOTTA get her a convertible when she's older - I love to see a woman in a flash car! She's such a cutie!

Your DGD is a cutie-pie. I bet she loves to visit the grandparents. How cute is that little tractor!

What is following the cow?

That is our red heeler pup, he is about 4 or 5 months old.

Cute! My brother in law has a Heeler/Pit Bull mix. He has him as just a pet, not a working dog. The poor thing is totally hyper all the time.

Hey, Melissa-Teegyn looks sooo cute! I sure wish we could get her together with Katie, Emily and Madison. They would have a blast.

She will have to move over soon and make room for her brother!
