This pup and our donkey have become best buds! It is so funny to watch them, they have "tender moments" together!!!!! :lol: :lol: No DH hasnt put the pup on a leash yet. I have a feeling he wont like it much! These heelers have an inborn instinct about working with cattle, so pups arent to hard to train. I would imagine if yours hasnt been around cattle before you got him, it might take a little longer. I have actually seen a cow dog working cattle, all by himself ... a real thinking dog, to say the least. Your pup, following behind (sort of on his own) looked to be a good job. I just figured maybe you had taught him something or used a technique that I wasn't getting. |
