Beautiful. Does it work, keeping your hands busy?

Wise words I learned from a nice lady: There’s plenty to do if you want to do it.

Very sweet blankets.

Very pretty.

I use to crochet also. My daughter does a lot of blankets to donate along with her quilts.

Good to hear your hands are always busy for good causes. I am finding that my wrist hurts and is a bit "asleep" after a day of cutting and sewing and pressing. I love to crochet, but now am worried that it will make my potential carpal tunnel worse! Oh well...I put a brace on my wrist when I'm on the computer and I just may have to do a little less at a time. Darn! Or, I'll start using my left hand more for easy things like drinking coffee, combing hair, wiping counters, etc. Crochet is so relaxing and good for car trips! I remember I was crocheting a charity afghan a few years ago...sitting on a lounge chair on the Florida beach underneatn an umbrella. My sister-in-law said that I was quite the image in all that heat!

I, too, do a lot of crocheting in the evenings. I mainly work on prayer shawls to be given out at church and blankets for Project Linus.

I take handwork to the park in the summer where there is music certain evenings. People stop and chat, especially if I’m hand sewing binding on a quilt.
