When it is none of my concern -

A phrase I have found somewhat useful - and descriptive!

Not my circus, not my monkey!

Do you have any favorites?

Iceblossom 09-26-2019 10:03 AM

That's a good one. Lately I'm using "I can do crazy all by myself so I'm staying out of that one".

JenniePenny 09-26-2019 10:33 AM

I like to say, "not my pasture, not my cow dung."

Tartan 09-26-2019 01:10 PM

Not my horse and pony show.

quiltingcandy 09-26-2019 01:13 PM

"To each his own", said the little old lady as she kissed her cow.

leonf 09-26-2019 01:14 PM

A phrase I learned from my Mennonite friends, "It doesn't suit."

If it isn't fire, flood or blood, I don't want to hear it now.

Moira in N.E. England 09-26-2019 01:48 PM

Local expression from NE England -

Shy bairns get nowt! (Shy children get nothing!)

SusieQOH 09-26-2019 01:51 PM

"Don't let anyone live in your head rent free". I love that saying!!! And it's so true

zozee 09-26-2019 04:07 PM

I say “I’m not gonna grab that dog by the ears”.

ILoveToQuilt 09-26-2019 04:09 PM

Even though I am 100% American, I love this phrase:

"Don't get your knickers in a twist"

HettyB 09-27-2019 02:54 AM

Just because you can, doesn't mean you should

sandy l 09-27-2019 03:17 AM

Been there, done that and am not doing it again.

Onebyone 09-27-2019 05:30 AM

"I don't have to care about that" has been my attitude for the last few years.

baywinds 09-27-2019 07:21 AM

"It doesn't affect my take home pay"

Kitsie 09-27-2019 07:29 AM

"Goodness Gracious Godness Agnes" Thanks to my Nana!

KalamaQuilts 09-27-2019 02:23 PM

no skin off my nose. whatever that actually means ;) I always took it to mean none of my beeswax and don't care anyway.

JACRN 09-27-2019 02:59 PM

Love this! It's what my mother always said, word for word.

Seasew 09-27-2019 05:57 PM

It’s all mind over matter. If you don’t mind, it doesn't matter.

Mousie 09-27-2019 06:35 PM

"Mind your own little red wagon" is what I used to tell my kids
when they tried to chime in about a sibling.

SuzzyQ 09-28-2019 08:14 AM

Do I need to know this?

My mother often used that saying, usually with a pause before she said "and I'm not saying where she kissed the cow".

"Never argue with a pig. You'll just get dirty and the pig likes it."
"It's not a matter of right or wrong, but what is the wise thing to do."
"That's choice."
